Rain Rain Go Away

So, I planned to take some photos and post a makeup post however the weather has been so grey and rainy that good photos just weren't happening. Instead I'm sharing some items to help those in the UK (or wherever it is raining I suppose) stay dry and warm over the next few days (weeks, months....)

Can you have a least favourite day? I think Wednesday would be it. So, in order to overcome the mid-week blues I have put together some things that I am enjoying so far this week.

Weekly Resolution #1

I did try to think of a snappier title for this series but was left blank (if you have any ideas let me know!). In my 2014 resolutions post I talked about how I wanted to start doing posts on my specific aims/resolutions for that week. Today will see the start of the first one and we will see how it goes from here!

Resolutions. 2014

I will own up now, this post has been sitting unfinished in my drafts for a while. I wanted these to be really meaningful resolutions and I am feeling indecisive recently (stroke always). I also have a new idea for a weekly post that I will explain at the end.

I did a similar post last year and, although I can't say they were all particularly successful, I liked doing it and it feels good to set some targets for the year ahead. This year I am trying to make them more specific. Of course, new years is not the only time to make resolutions so I will most likely think of more as the year progresses.

Jewellery isn't something I buy very often but I think it may be time to treat myself to one of these gorgeous pieces - I love the idea of having handmade jewellery, definitely makes it seem more special. These designers and makers are so talented!

I would love to discover more handmade jewelry - are there any shops (etsy or otherwise) that you would recommend?

New Year, New Start

Ok, so it's the 11th January and I am (as usual) a little late on the bandwagon but what a better way to start the year than with some nice clothes - I'm thinking clean lines, stripes, casual yet put together, groomed, basically what I dream I can one day be. In reality I'm far too messy and clumsy for any of this. I need reminding not to buy anything white.
